Antelope Hills Golf Course - Prescott, AZ

Antelope Hills Golf Courses, in Prescott, Arizona, features 36 holes of championship golf in the beautiful mountains of the northern part of Arizona.

The North Course opened in 1958, the South Course was added in 1992. Both courses have the rock formations of Granite Dells and the Bradshaw Mountains in the background.


These courses have hosted many PGA and USGA events, including US Open Qualifying, Arizona State Junior Championships, PGA Southwest Section Pro-Assistant Championship, PGA Pro-Ams., as well as weekly events by the local Men's and Ladies' Golf Associations. Even the AGA annual Father-Son Championship has been played at here for over 50 years.

There is also a clubhouse as part of the course that features the Manzanita Grille with full-service food and beverage activities, where they even serve golfers and non-golfing groups with banquet services. In addition, there is a north clubhouse that is perfect for private meetings, with food and beverage needs, as well as a great location for weddings and receptions.

The fees are as follows:
  • Resident (18 holes) $24
  • Resident Twilight (after 3:00) $20
  • Resident (9 holes) $16
  • Resident Senior (over 60, afternoon Sun-Thurs) $17
  • Resident Junior (17&under, after 3:00) $7
  • Non Resident (18 holes) $30
  • Non Resident Twilight (After 3:00) $30
  • Non Resident (9 holes) $22
  • Non Resident Senior (over 60, afternoon Sun-Thurs) $17

Toad Valley Golf Course - Iowa

The Toad Valley Golf Course is located in Pleasant Hill, Iowa. They opened in 1973. They have an 18-hole course.


The above image is the layout of their course - all 18 holes. On Monday through Friday, if you come before 3:00pm, you can play 9 holes for $18 and 18 holes for $24. If you arrive on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays before noon, it's $18 for 9 holes and $26 for 18 holes. There is a senior (at least 62 years old) special on Monday through Friday before 3:00pm and after noon on weekends and holidays, it's only $13 for 9 holds, and $16 for 18 holes.

There is also a family fun special. On Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays after 3:00pm, it's $10.50 per person for 9 holes and 13.50 per person for 18 holes. For a foursome that comes after 6:00pm and is not in a league, it's only $17.50 for the first golfer, and each additional golfer is only $7.50.

They even offer season passes ranging from $200 (for students) up to $1152 (for couple unlimited).

Ocean Edge Golf Course in Frisco, NC

Ocean's Edge is a 10-hole golf course located in Frisco, North Carolina on Hatteras Island, which is 55 miles south of Nags Head on the outer banks.. It features 1400 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 30. The course rating is 22.0 and it has a slope rating of 113. It has three par-4s, seven par-3s, and a putting green.


The course was designed by David Parker and opened in 1990. David manages the course and is also the general manager and superintendent. The course is open daily year-round. The course joins the Atlantic and General Michael airport. Hole 10 is a par 3. The first 9 plays to a par-30. The short layout provides for a fun golf experience for golfers of all skill levels.

The course actually closed down in 2008, but it is still mentioned because it was so golfer-friendly.
